I don't believe in coincidence. I think that as the polls dropped for Obama, the economy was the only safety net left. I know Soros was his key contributor. You can find that on opensecrets.org if you haven't looked already. And like most millionaires, he's not doing this out of the milk of human kindness. There are reasons behind his backing. A more closed elitist government would be able to make deals with privileged individuals under the guise of national emergency. And Soros has done this before-he's been accused of market manipulation in Europe and his name is sullied in the UK with the fall of the pound. He's connected to many wealthy internationalist who think nothing of the plight of average working Joes and see this as a chance to set a fire and then buy the leftovers at a fire sale.<BR/><BR/>Also, American businesses are on sale right now. My husband worked for a company that was just fine five years ago. The made a good product and were competitive. A British company bought them out and then proceeded to buy out their competitors. They closed manufacturing plants, but didn't bother to increase workers at the home plant. As a result, they couldn't make enough stock to keep customers happy. Sales went down due to this and in the end it's the sales people and line workers who get shafted. We have got to stop insulating upper level management from the follies of their actions. Instead, we have created protections for them. And frankly, those same folks are right in the receiving line for the new order. To say I afraid is an understatement. I teach school. My husband is looking for another job right now. But our lives don't matter. They will bleed us dry in the same manner FDR-Obama's spiritual mentor-prolonged the Depression into WWII.
